How to use ytPurify

  1. Play a link: Paste a YouTube video URL in the top box and select Play. Links with a start time (such as ?t=90) begin at that point. Select Copy Clean Video Link beneath a loaded video to share a link that opens it here automatically.
  2. Play a playlist: Paste a YouTube playlist URL (or a video link that includes a playlist). Choose Play all videos in playlist for sequential playback, Show videos in playlist to browse thumbnails, or Play linked video only to play the specific video in a link without continuing through its playlist. Use Load more videos to browse past the first 50.
  3. Custom playlists: Select Create custom playlist, give it a name, and add videos as you paste or search. Move or remove videos in the editing list. Select Save playlist link to share the ordered list (up to 50 videos). The draft stays in this browser; the link works on other devices. Viewers can use Previous/Next even if automatic advance is unavailable.
  4. Search: Enter a topic in Find a video and select Search. Up to 50 embeddable videos appear; select any result to play it on this page. A link with ?q=your+topic opens the search automatically on the school network.
  5. Watch: Use the video player's controls to pause, change volume, or seek. Paste another link or select another result to switch videos.
  6. Replay: When a video finishes, select Replay to start it again. When the YouTube player API is available, ytPurify covers end-screen recommendations.

If the YouTube player API is blocked, Play all uses YouTube's built-in playlist player to advance automatically; the final end-screen cover and Replay button may not appear. Private playlists, school network restrictions, and video owners' embedding settings still apply. Playlist entries are not subject to the search filter.
